Camille Pissario was a famous impressionist painter and also was an amazing dot painter. Camille was born on the 10 July 1830 on the Caribbean Isalnds to a merchant family. He painted rural and urban French lifestyle paintings. Camille came to Paris in 1855 where he started painting Paris. He was addmited to the salon in 1859. He attended the Academic Suisse and became friends with Monet and Cezanne.Camille, but was later rejected by the salon as his paintings where not popular. In 1866 he changed his style of Painting to realism. His friend also artist recommended him to an art dealer. Thi sart dealer helped him to become famous and is one of the reason he is a well known artist.
This Painting is done by Sally Harrison and it is called 'maelstrom'. I choose this painting because it made me stop and think how did she paint this. I love the combination of both modern art
In this Painting i see a women's face. I see leaves or dirt covering some parts of her face and foot prints of a dog or a dingo on top of the dirt.
The colours Sally has used are Brown,Yellow,Black,Red,White and Blue. These colours create a very eathy like painting.
I think the story Sally is trying to tell is that every one is wild in there own way. Even with beautiful Clothes on you can still be wild and connect to nature.
